Infobric acquires BlastManager AS
Through the acquisition of the Norwegian IT company BlastManager AS, Infobric further strengthens its position as a digitization partner to the construction industry’s stakeholders and provides the executive group with specialist expertise in IT solutions for safer and efficient blasting work.
The acquisition of BlastManager is a strategic step for Infobric, towords becoming the leading digitization partner for the construction industry in the Nordic region. The IT company from Sweden has grown strongly organically in the recent years and its first acquisition was made in spring 2019, the Norwegian-based company Templus AS. With BlastManager, Infobric strengthens its position as supplier to the contractors in the construction industry.

BlastManager AS was founded in 2006 in Kristiansand and develops digital services for planning and documentation of blasting work. The company is the market leader in its niche in Norway, with about 1 000 blasting contractors using the system today. The cloud-based system BlastManager enables the blast contractor to meet requirements from authorities and clients in a safe, simple and cost-effective way. Features include designing ointments, simulating the detonation process, calculationg vibrations and communicating with nearby residents and actors withing the project.
Blasting works have high demands on analysis, documentation and coordination, where paper and pencil are still widely used. Therefore, there are great opportunities to increase safety and efficiency in the industry with the help of digital tools and smart technology.

Infobric acquires 100% of the shares in BlastManager AS and the formal entry takes place in August 2019.
